You know, during Yoga, I thought of something. Why do people where sweatshirts and all things sweaty when they work out? when you start to sweat, you feel like your working out but if you wear hot clothes, you don’t have to do as much which is cheating. Heck, I’d be sweating even before getting on the treadmill! (those things should be powered to a real mill or something, you know, grinding wheat while you walk would get something done)

This doofus has been calling us since 4:00AM and every hour since then. I’ve been picking up several times but he/she just hangs up. We thought about star-69ing (the thing that let’s you call back the person who just called you) the lump of coal (the caller) but that costs $1.50 so I thought “forget that.”
Finally, when the phone rang, I recited the answering machine announcement (good thing I made the message announcement so it sounded the same). Halfway through, I said “Ha! I got you now, come out! Say something!” Then I pressed buttons like I normally do and then suddenly I heard a voice. I thought “oh no! I planned all that out and when I finally did it, it was a real caller. The lady asked to speak with Ma. (She knew all our names too, I wonder why) She didn’t say what she wanted to talk about or anything. She didn’t even say her last name. We said we’d call her back. She kept calling again for the rest of the day. If she comes near me, I’ll give her something to remember.
Hey folks! Luke here. Just finished upgrading Kyle’s blog. It’s now powered by Blogger, so you can leave comments, subscribe to an XML feed (coming soon), and lots of other cool stuff TBA. So, enjoy!

We went fishing. Even though it was quite cloudy, it was rather warm. I caught a nice perch, kinda rainbowy. Luke said I should put it back but this time I kept it. Moments like these have been rare this year. There was another fish out there but each time I put bait on the hooks, the darn thing ate off all the bait. I don’t blame him of course.
We went to Ideal’s after. I ordered a breakfast but it didn’t come with bacon. When a waiter came, I said “I believe this order comes with bacon.” Luke said I was too smart aleky. He said I should’ve been more assertive. Jeez, I was just being myself.
We got some garden work done. Finished thinning out the bamboo, trasplanted the lettuce, etc. Our roof is getting worked on so Luke’s bed got a layer of sawdust, a few nails ‘n such so he made a bed downstairs. It started to sprinkle today so Jorge came by and covered the roofless roof in a tarp.
These interesting spiders have been around the garden recently. Every year for the past two years but yellow/black spiders form these intriqute webs. They’re small now but they get quite a bit bigger.
