So, Luke got this nForce4 motherboard from a not-too-well known company and it took two weeks to get here. Pa put it in his computer and it turns out it didn’t fit in his box (he’s got a micro-ATX). Since I was gonna give my mobo to Luke and I would need a new one, I took it and put it in my computer.
Installing it was easy and rather fun. Of course, the problems happened when we turned it on. It’s hard to explain the problems that came up but long story short, the mobo was a little DOA.
It was soooooooooooooooooo depressing to -after all that time- have to take out everything and put the old stuff back in again.
I’m gonna get an ABIT nForce4 with a heatpipe so I won’t need fans.
i used a ‘heat pipe’ quite a bit as a teenager myself…never had a computer though…still when i was using it i said things like ‘motherboard and a-x47 with fans’…or whatever…
buddy
Excellent, love it!
