We went to Karate. Just as we pulled up in the lot, I saw this motercyclist pulled into a spot. We moved on. Suprisingly, there wasn’t a single spot with a meter available! I mean there were spots for people with parking permits but we didn’t have a permit and we couldn’t get one. The only spot that was available was the whole spot that was taken up by a single skinny motercycle! I mean why did the motercycle have to take up a whole space!? There were spots for motercycles a few dozen feet to the back. (if you know what mean) Anyway, we waited there for quite a while and then a bunch more cars came hunting for a spot so we just left. We were starting to drive home when Luke asked me if I wanted to see his girlfriends apartment. Since I haven’t seen it, I said sure. We drove down and went there. It was, pretty small. I guess what an apartment is. His girlfriend (let’s just call her Phillis) Phillis was in the shower and didn’t know we came in so Luke waited and I hid behind the door. We waited for about 15 minutes. Since I don’t normally stand behind an open door, it’s was actually kind of enjoyable. I mean I wouldn’t do it very often or in my spare time but it was nice in an interesting way. I think that was the first time in a while where I was standing almost completly still. I mean I’ve stood completly still before when I was sneaking around in other places but not for a while. It was pretty relaxing. Luke was wanting to engage in some conversation while he was waiting so we mingled conversationally for a little bit.
When Phillis came, we talked for a bit. I was wanting to go since the meter was almost out and I just wanted to go home but they said that they were gonna wrestle so I decided to stay a bit longer. After putting in more change into the meter, we moved some furniture and did some English wrestling. That made up for the Karate we didn’t do! At 6:30, we left.

Since I’m the Financial Advisor to AFM (Abbott Family Music), we figured that I should get some know-how in things like investing, business and such. It just so happened that we watched this PBS lecture on TV by a guy named Robert Kiyosaki who was talking about how to get rich. . . or something like that. It was a good lecture so we got his Rich Dad, Poor Dad books and books by his advisors. They are good books and he writes ‘em very well. I recommend ‘em
So, in a nutshell, when I get rich, I’m gonna sue you all!

So, since I saw that the Shamisen skin is attached to the body with rice glue, I decided to experiment with it. We went down to Trader Joe’s and looked at their rice powder. We noticed that the packages said something like, “a non-glutinous food” or whatever. We went down to New Leaf and looked at their rice powder. It was just the same but we decided to try it out.
I made several different batch of rice glop. Different proportions and ratios and whatnot. None of it was sticky. I looked online and found out the the rice with gluten is called Sticky Rice, Sweet Rice or Glutenous Rice. I called Staff of Life and asked them if they had it. They said they did. We’ll go down sometime later.

Those romans had something real good with that whole ‘eating-while-reclining’ thing. When we have dinner, we usually watch The Daily Show, Colbert Report, Survivor, Dave Letterman, etc, and when we all watch and eat. I lie down down on the couch when I eat dinner when we watch. It makes the food go down easy and all in all makes the eating experience more enjoyable. It’s, I dunno. . . better that way. That’s why I say the Romans had something good goin’ on with that.
Keep in mind, I don’t lie down when I eat Breakfast or Lunch, it’s just dinner.
