Today was the Math part of the CHSEE. I thought It’d be easier but it wasn’t. The sample problems were a bit easier. Well, I guess it all was easy, it just felt tricky in the beginning ’cause I hadn’t gotten in the math “groove” yet. Once I got rolling, it was pretty smooth sailing. Once I hit a hard problem, I came to a stop. After taking 5 minutes, I decided that I was taking too long and I should just keep going. So I threw out an answer and kept going. It took a little while to get on a smooth pace after “tripping” on the problem but I finished it in about 1:30. Since I have to only maybe get half of the questions right, I figure skipping a few wouldn’t hurt. I mean if it takes more than three minutes, it’s gonna take more than 15 minutes to get it.
