CHSEE

Today, I took the CHSEE to get out of High School. I thought possibly the english test would be a bit harder than the math. Even though math ain’t my favorite subject and english is more up my alley (though I’m not up “proper english’s” alley”), I thought english would be harder ’cause I have to write an essay and my handwriting is somewhat. . . oh, I don’t know – freeform. Meaning I’m the only person who can read it.

Well, I took it and it was easier than I thought! I was afraid that the essay subject was for me to promote something or support something (especially when it’s something I don’t care about) but it wasn’t. The subject was for me to describe something that I’ve noticed in detail. Within 10 seconds, I immediately thought of writing about me looking at that guy’s eye! Writing it took a while ’cause I got in a little more detail than I probably needed. After all, they don’t even read it. They just check to see if it has a beginning middle and end and to see if it’s intellegible.

So, I finished that in about an 1:30. I called home but the line was busy for a bit so I played chess with one of the homeschoolers I know while I waited.

  • good, bout time you got your lazy butt outa school so you can start helping your poor worn down daddy plow the fields n’ such…

surprised to hear any school tests still allow handwriting instead of wanting everything on a computer, typed out…
