Emptied Kale

You see, three years ago, Pa ate nothing but kale. He was convinced he needed to go on a diet. (even though he has a six pack, rock hard gut) In any case, he loaded up our downstairs freezer full of it. Made sense, we didn’t really put anything in there anyway. Well, now, he hasn’t eaten it in about a year and now more important thing is cropping up: bird flu. Since who knows what is gonna happen with that, we’re gonna stock up the freezer with emergency food.

So, today, Luke and I got some buckets and a wheelborrow and cleaned out the freezer. I thought of giving to a soup kitchen or selling out front but I mean come on, who on earth is gonna want to eat it? So, we took it to the dumster. So, there is over 300 pounds (absolutely seriously) of Kale in our dumpster if you are hungry. They are individually wrapped in ziploc bags so don’t be grossed out by the thoguht of it in a trash can.
