A week ago, the Karate club/class I go to is thinking about have a t-shirt and asked the people to come u
p with ideas for the shirt via YahooGroup. Quickly after, I came up with a ten minute mockup. It was a good start. Since then, I had been working on it for a little while and I’ve come up with some mockups. Then I sent it to the Group. Since then, We’ve critiqued it and changed some things. For starters, the font on the first mockup was too hard to read and on the second mockup, the font was too. . . un-flowey.
After some trial and error, we came up with a good final (though it is subject
to change).

Boy, we almost couldn’t find a place to park! Since almost all of the meters were VIP reserved for some badmutton tournament, we were circling for a while finding a spot to open. After seeing that nothing would budge (and also there were three cars ahead of us), we went over to another lot only to find that it was full too. We decided to either go look for another lot that was about a half hour’s walk away (class started in about 5 minutes), or check the meters again. We decided to try again and, ho ho ho! There was an empty spot with 27 minutes left on the meter!
Class was fine. We did the usual Kihon, Kumite, Kata, the works baby!.
Midday today, it cleared up and not a drop of overcast could be seen. However, it still wasn’t warm enough to go to the river. It still is early in the season too so there’s no rush.
Ah! This morning, it was nice and warm and felt like a great innertubing day! The sun was shing, the air had a very summery smell. We even thought about doing Yoga at the beach this morning. However, before yoga, I looked at the horizon and noticed that there was fog covering the ocean. Within a half hour, we saw it creeping towards us. Not much later, not a sun in sight. It still wasn’t cold, but it sure wasn’t hot either.
We were at the jam today and it was in the high 80s. IT would have been a very nice day to float down the river in innertubes. We might do that tomorrow if it’s still this sunny .
