I’ve heard that when rosewood is cut, it smells like roses. Well, when I took it out of the package, I noticed it smelled like dirt. Ma thought it smelled like burnt wood. I was eating lunch and the wood was nearby. (which I forgot that it was there) So, I was there eating and I started thinking about Wilder Ranch. . . Particularly the area with the cows and horses. (The dungy area) I thought, “gee! All of the sudden I’m thinking of Wilder! I wonder why?” Then I started to notice the scent around me. I was smelling the salad I was eating and the rosewood that apperantly (according to my nose) smelled like dung.
Hmm . . . Well, I’m sure it’ll smell better when I cut it.
